Heather graduated from the University of Otago in 2016, joining Robertsons in July 2017 and being admitted to the bar later that year.

Heather assists on general, statutory liability and professional indemnity matters, including civil proceedings against solicitors, accountants, and construction professionals such as engineers. She has also worked on the defence of criminal regulatory proceedings brought by various bodies including WorkSafe New Zealand, Maritime New Zealand, the Commerce Commission and regional Councils under the Resource Management Act.

Prior to joining Robertsons, Heather gained industry experience working in an insurance brokers’ claims department and supporting their in-house counsel and has subsequently been seconded twice to insurer clients to their claims handling departments.
