Aimee holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese and Economics from the University of Auckland and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in August 2017.

Aimee is an insurance lawyer with experience advising both policyholders and insurers across wordings projects, coverage disputes and defence matters, with a particular focus on Directors and Officers, Professional Indemnity, Public and Products Liability and Construction All Risks insurance.

She began her career acting for insureds whose houses were damaged in the Canterbury earthquakes, before advising insurers on liability defence and subrogated recovery matters spanning various areas of law.

More recently, Aimee worked at a startup insurance consultancy in London for several years, advising SMEs, PE firms, and FTSE 100 and 250 constituents on various insurance-related matters. Her primary responsibilities were to deliver wording reviews and insurance due diligence projects as well as to resolve large and contentious claims arising from the Grenfell fire.

At Robertsons, Aimee advises on a wide range of insurance matters, using her diverse experience and industry knowledge to deliver sound, pragmatic legal advice that leads to effective resolution for clients.
